Queanbeyan coach Garry Ball is still confident the Yowies are close to a breakthrough, despite suffering their fourth straight loss on Sunday to the Sutherland Sharks.

The Yowies went down to the Sharks by 12 points in a fast-paced affair at the Queanbeyan Basketball Stadium.
"It was a really solid game, we expected it to be fast and hectic and it was," Ball said.
Queanbeyan trailed by five points at quarter time and won the second quarter to trail by only a goal at the major break.
They were matched by Sutherland in the third and trailed by two points once again at three-quarter time.
What was once a tight match was blown out to a convincing Sharks lead in the final term- running out eventual winners 76 to 64.
Coach Ball admitted there were areas of improvement for the Yowies, but said the win was within reach for the home side.
"We struggled to contain outside shooting and overall we could have done better with boxing out, getting boards and just a few other little things we need to work on," he said.
"But we were unfortunate not to get the win- we're just not coming up with the goods."
Star import Jono Miller once again starred for the Yowies, top scoring with 29 points and dominating the boards.
"Jono Miller was outstanding on boards and got a lot of second shots," Ball said.
"Jeff Dowdell, James Lee and Gabriel Haynes also played well."
Ball said at round four it is not quite time to write off the Yowies season completely and is confident the team will come together.
"I'm disappointed with the loss, but we still have to maintain a positive outlook- it's too early to start looking at the win-loss record," he said.
"I'm still trying to work out combinations and get the right group working together at the right time.
"We just have to dig a bit deeper when we're down- we're on par if not stronger than some of the teams."
The Yowies take on the Wagga Heat this Saturday, a strong opponent Ball said, but he is not counting his boys out.
"Gage Daye their US import is an important player and they're a fairly well rounded team, we're going to have to be on our game," he said.
"But if we come out with a solid performance and iron out all of the problem areas then we should be able to get them."
