City have had a successful preseason, which included reaching the quarter finals of the Maso Cup in Sydney.
They lost to Rockdale City Suns, the host of the tournament who went on to win the Cup.
"We're focusing on playing the ground and spreading the ball," Trajkovski said.
"But we're doing really well."
Only two players left City last year, but the club has a lot of good players who can fill those spots, Trajkovski said.
"Striker Daniel Crkovski is a top goal scorer and stopper Danny Burns and striker/midfielder Ned Aleksic are good players," he said.
Going into a season with minimal changeover is a definitely edge for the team, Trajkovski said.
"It's an advantage that we have all played together and know what we can do," he said.
"We finished top four last year, we're planning for better this year.
"We're going to try and win the premiership, but there are good teams in the league."
City vice captain Nick Noveski said he has high hopes for the season.
"We've been training pretty well, had a strong preseason with a lot of fitness and we're a stronger team than last year," he said.
