Jones says he has five or six legitimate chances to win at Canberra's Thoroughbred Park on Tuesday, with six runners in five races over the day.

But he said Just A Blur would resume on January 24 in Sydney and could only win one race to remain eligible for the Country Champs, which aren't until early April.

Jones felt she was up to listed-group 3 level and they might overlook the champs and simply target city wins instead.

"We're not sure what to do with her, whether we hold her back for the country championships - she's only got one win left in her before the country championships," he said.

"Our opinion of her is she might be a bit above the country championship, she might be worthy of some group races."

Jones will take Caprossa to Rosehill on Saturday.

The daughter of Testa Rossa is dual nominated, but Jones was leaning towards the benchmark 80 handicap (1200 metres) for fillies and mares.

He's hoping Because We All Can can also push on to become a city class horse after her five-length win at Canberra last start.

The Hussonet mare is a full sister to Friday Hussy, who has won in Sydney and Melbourne for top trainer David Hayes.

Jones is hoping Because We All Can can replicate that success, although he's unsure if she will get the 2000 metres her sister managed to salute at.

He said breeding was just an indicator that a horse might be as good or better than a sibling.

"Hopefully she can run them a merry dance again, she's jumping out of her skin," Jones said.

"You hear the old saying, 'Dawn Fraser's sister can't swim', but she probably could swim but she was only at state level and not at international level.

"If you've got a champion you don't mind if the [sister] comes round to even be three-quarters as good or this one might be the champion."

Jones also has Back To Zero, Chasing Charlie, Cherokee Warrior, Better Idea and Melberra Star running at Canberra.

Fellow Canberra trainer Nick Olive's Single Gaze will leave for  the Gold Coast for the lucrative Magic Millions two-year-old race on Thursday.
