THE Queanbeyan Art Society has shared the profits of its members' creativity with a local charity after recently donating much-needed funds to the Snowyhydro Southcare service.

This is the seventh year the Queanbeyan Art Society has run its Charity Art Show for different regional charities. The 2014 Charity Art Show was up 10 per cent on previous years with sales and commissions.
"Holding it in City Walk, Canberra over a week of Floriade is an ideal venue and many of the sales go interstate," president Barry Cranston said. "This Art Show is open to all artists and the 350 works filled the huge tent exhibition site.
"It is a great Art Exhibition for many regional painters to show their works for sale or get commissions. QAS has set the date for the eighth Charity Art Show in City Walk, Canberra for September 19-27 nex year."
