The incident comes just days after another cross-border chase on Monday evening, November 3.
The man was driving a stolen red Isuzu D-max utility at about 5pm when he was spotted by police on Gilmore Road.
Officers attempted to get the driver to pull over but he didn't stop and almost hit another vehicle as he tried to evade police.
Police followed the car down Gunn St then Nimmitabel St before pursuing it through the ACT.
The chase eventually ended in Wanniassa when the man collided with a fence. He then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
