Miss Neville, 23, first won the title in 2012 and enjoyed the role so much that she held onto it for an extra year.
But the time has come for her to move on and she'll instead be running the 2014 Queanbeyan Showgirl competition as the chief steward.
"Now is a good time for me to pass it on because life is getting very hectic for me at the moment," she said.
"It's sad [to be moving on] but I'm very confident the person who receives the Showgirl title will represent the community to the best of their ability and make us proud."
The university student said the title has afforded her many opportunities and is one of the reasons she is encouraging other local women to enter the competition.
"It's one of those experiences that is second to none. The amount of doors that it opens for you, to develop personally and professionally, is very worthwhile," she said.
Miss Neville is one of three judges helping to choose the 2014 Showgirl and determine winners in the other categories - Tiny Tots (3-6-years-old), Junior (7-12) and Teen (13-17).
Currently, there are two applicants for the senior Showgirl title (18-25-year-olds are eligible). Applications can still be lodged up until Tuesday, November 4.
Applications for the other categories can be submitted on the first day of the Show - Saturday, November 8 with judging commencing from 10am onward.
Prior to the Show, senior Showgirl applicants will be interviewed by a judging panel and asked questions on the local community, current events as well as voicing their ambitions and goals.
All winners will be announced and presented with their prizes at the Show's Official Opening on Saturday, November 8 from 1pm.
The senior Showgirl winner will have the opportunity to progress to the zone finals which could lead to a spot in the state competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. They will also receive up to $800 in prizes.
"We're looking for someone who is well presented, articulate so it fits with the judging criteria for the zone finals but also someone who's going to give back to the agricultural community," Miss Neville said.
And her advice for any potential Showgirl candidates? (Or Showboy as there are no rules prohibiting males from entering.)
"Be yourself. If you're confident you'll get there," she said.
"Know what you're going in for, the judges are looking at your appearance, personality and confidence.
"Be true to yourself and you'll go far."
