Three people were arrested Saturday night by police patrolling the Jerrabomberra area after several incidents of property and money stolen from parked motor vehicles were reported.

Police stopped the 18-year-old male and two juveniles, and after a search the man was found to be in the possession of some stolen property including money and a knife.
The three were arrested and taken to the Queanbeyan Police Station where the adult male was charged with a number of offences including theft, possession of a knife in public, and possession of implements to enter a vehicle.
He has been granted conditional bail to appear at the Queanbeyan Local Court on December 1, while the two juveniles will be processed under the Young Offenders Act.
Those who had property stolen from a vehicle in the Jerrabomberra area on Saturday night should contact the Queanbeyan Police Station. The public is also encouraged not to leave valuables in vehicles.
