Police allege that a number of calls were made to ambulance and police over the previous week reporting incidents causing their response.
Some of these calls advised that a person had been shot, or that there was an incident involving a firearm, causing an urgent response from both ambulance and police.
When responding, these services utilised lights and sirens, placing themselves and other road users at increased risk at the times.
Police on arrival donned protective vests due to the nature of the information provided in the calls.
The woman was identified and arrested on Thursday, October 16 and has been charged with causing public mischief.
The woman has been bailed to appear at the Queanbeyan Local Court today.
