She revealed her organisation was one of the club's creditors at a meeting at the club last Thursday night, and raised great concerns that her organisation would be forced to cut Queanbeyan from the competition if it was not paid by the start of next year.

Bowls ACT also govern ACT representative bowling teams, and the club could also risk not being able to be represented by the ACT if the fees are not met.

Lyttle said the club owed Bowls ACT $56 per head, but hoped to be able to reach an agreement with it in the near future.

"We would like the new administrators of the club to arrange a process of payment with us so we can include Queanbeyan in next year's men's pennant series and so they can keep playing with us," she said.

"By the letter of the law, Queanbeyan is not a member of Bowls ACT at the moment, but for the time being we're happy to keep them included but we need to come to a resolution soon."

New club administrators Tim Gumbleton and Andrew Bowcher of RSM Bird Cameron held their first meeting with its creditors last Friday, which included Bowls ACT, and Gumbleton said he hoped to come to a pre-pay agreement with them.

He hoped this would allow Queanbeyan bowlers to keep playing under them even if not all affiliation fees are met by next year.

"We're working with Bowls ACT to formulate a plan whereby we can ensure that basically the men pay up as they go through," he said.

"But there's some competitive bowlers out there that we need to assure they're legitimate if you like, and we don't want them just sitting out there not being able to bowl."

Lyttle said in the case no agreement was reachable, Queanbeyan players could still represent other clubs in mens pennant competition.

"Queanbeyan players could always make a temporary move to another club, and they would still legally play in our competitions that way," she said.

Gumbleton hoped an agreement could be reached on October 30 when he next meets with club creditors.
