The project, titled the Benedict Arts Precinct, had many intrigued as they toured the grounds to see the transformation.
Recently renovated rooms are now gallery spaces for the work of more than 20 artists in differing mediums as well as pieces by the Lost and Found Office. Visitors also enjoyed music in the new perfomance space and art workshops in the studio managed by the Artists Shed Incorporated's Tim Keeble and Dennis Mortimer.
The former girl boarding school and convent is certainly enjoying a revival under the watchful eyes of custodians Rory and Jessica Markham who took over Benedict House from Kate Shelton earlier in the year.
