CRICKET ACT stopped in at Queanbeyan's Wright Park on Monday to take just under 400 primary school students through the Milo Twenty Twenty Blast program, officially marking the start of cricket action in the region.

The Milo program is aimed at primary school students between years three to six, and Queanbeyan Public, South, East, West, and Jerrabomberra Public school's all took part in Monday's action where students learned to bat, bowl, field, and wicket-keep.
Forty-nine teams were formed across each school, which played in a round-robin style tournament on the day, with a modified eight players per side.
Students soaked in perfect weather on the day, enjoying the fun of playing team sport and being active under the sun.
