Jerra have had the edge on Waratah throughout the season, and finished on top of the ladder in attempting to defend their title and make it two championships in a row.
However coach and captain of the side Laura Gow said her girls would need to work on their defence to shut down goal opportunities for Waratah.
"They've got a really good, young, goal shooter that we will have to watch out for to get the win," Gow said.
An injury to key wing attack player Rhiannon Davies will not help Jerra's cause though, as well as Waratah's inclusion of three ACT State League division one players.
"Going in we've had to look at some different combinations, so while on paper we might have looked like the favourites, I think now we're at a slight disadvantage, but we'll see how we go," Gow said.
Jenna Spears, Alana Bowyer and Hayley Bowyer will take to the court for Waratah, and according to their coach Rena Spears, will make for a good mix of experience and young blood in her side.
She said entering the match with a win and a forfeit against Jerra this season, her girls had to remain positive to gain a good outcome.
"I'll always rate our chances in everything we do," Spears said.
"I think we can get Jerra in attack. We should have better shooters, but across the court we should have them covered.
"We'll have the Bowyer's in defence, Jenna in centre court, and the young ones up front."
Spears encouraged people to get out to the match and support the local netball teams after an impressive turn-out last Saturday for the semi-finals.
