It was the fourth win in a row for the west Queanbeyan venture, as they now turn their attentions to the final round of the home and away season next week.

They face the West Belconnen Warriors in an important top four clash at Raiders Belconnen next Sunday, with the Warriors also still in the hunt for a top two finish.

Two tries in the opening 13 minutes basically wrapped the game up for the home side, as they made serious dents in the Bulls' defensive line.

Brothers Bryan Cronan and new-comer Tom Cronan did wonders for the side considering the finals are just around the corner, with Bryan crossing for three, while Tom crossed for a single in the first half.

Half Jordan Macey was again on fire, having a hand in most of his side's tries along with fellow half Luke Jones, and the combination of the halves and the outside backs looked as lethal as it has all season for the Roos as they head towards the finals series.

And remarkably, coach Aaron Gorrell played for 10 minutes for deciding the game was too much of a roll-over for him to play in. He also played for about 20 minutes last week against the Tuggeranong Bushrangers.

"I wanted to play a bit more time but it probably wasn't worth it when they score is like it was, so I touched the ball about three times and probably won't need a shower," said Gorrell with a laugh.

Gorrell said he was very happy with his men's performance and was feeling very confident heading into the Warriors clash knowing he will have a full strength squad minus forward Matt Lewis.

He said Tom Cronan was a keeper for the future as well.

"He's come in and he's got some speed, a good footy brain, and to have the two brothers there and at this level it's hard to find a good young kid like him," he said of the 17-year old.

"Today's game was also the first time we'd played in an ordinary game and stuck in it for 80 minutes, so that's the biggest plus we'll take forward from here."
