The Brumbies travelled to Brisbane on Thursday morning ahead of their Suncorp Stadium spectacular, where the side will look to hold their spot at the top of the Australian conference after a comfortable win over the Auckland Blues a week ago.
But for White the game will be about forgetting the blunders that occurred at home in the opening round, and continuing his fine form that has seen coach Stephen Larkham label him "the best halfback in the world."
And after starting for the Green and Gold in Europe, in favour of superstar Genia, who had the better of White two months ago, he has a great chance to impress.
With the Reds admitting to looking at putting the pressure on White during the week, he said he took that as a compliment.
"Every team makes a conscious effort to put pressure on myself and [fullback] Jesse Mogg, but we've got four good kickers, so if they put pressure on certain players, we can go to other guys to exit," he said.
"When they say they'll put the pressure on us I'll take it as a compliment for sure."
White said he was disappointed with his side's effort in round one, but said changes were made at training the following week which saw an instant return to form.
While White was not prepared to give too much away about his personal strategies, his involvement at the breakdown and business around the field have caught opposition napping and sparked momentum shifts for the Brumbies.
He said the form of his forward back had created those opportunities.
"When the forwards step up and play how they've played for most of the season, it makes my job a lot easier," he said.
White was humbled by suggestions he is the best halfback in the world at the moment, and characteristically said Genia and Wallabies superstar Quade Cooper would have most of the attention in the halves on Friday night.
He said their experience would prove a tough battle for him and fellow Brumbies half Matt Toomua.
Kick-off is at 7.40pm.
