The money will be used to finance a functioning kitchen where students will learn to cook the produce they will grow in the school's dynamic vegetable garden.
The Country Fair and Ute Muster is Sutton Public's School major fundraiser and the festivities didn't disappoint.
As well as food and market stalls there was entertainment by Adam Conroy, the school band and choir and the Sutton Academy Drill Dance.
Other highlights included the Sutton Rural Fire Service setting an old vehicle alight with flares before expertly dousing the flames.
The vintage steam engines also impressed as they puffed and powered unerringly in demonstrations.
