Eastlake will resume at 4/87 against the Bluebags after a rain-interrupted day's play at Freebody Oval last weekend. 

The match is something of a dead rubber for Queanbeyan with the side having already secured top spot on the ladder heading into the finals which kick off on Saturday week. 

And Taylor said the security of a guaranteed home final meant the Bluebags were in a strong position to fine-tune their game heading into the business end of the season. 

"We're pretty happy to have the minor premiership locked in so I don't think we're overly worried about this weekend," Taylor said. 

"We're probably more looking towards finals now. 

"Coming into three-day cricket one area where we might be lacking just a little bit is batting for long periods. 

"Hopefully on the weekend we can get the wickets we need early and then we can use the rest of the day as a bit of batting practice for the three-day stuff to come."

Queanbeyan's second leading wicket taker this season behind fellow seamer Vele Dukoski, Taylor was once again in strong form for the Bluebags against Eastlake. 

While not adding to his wicket tally, the affable quick was miserly in conceding just 10 runs in his nine overs to help put Queanbeyan in a strong position to secure first innings points this weekend. 

The Bluebags have been bolstered this season by terrific depth in the side's bowling stocks with Taylor and Dukoski joined by the likes of captain Blake Dean and Mark Solway in taking 15 wickets or more this campaign. 

"It's pretty good when you go to do the bowling warm up before the game and three quarters of the team is having a bowl," Taylor said. 

"I think it gives Blake piece of mind as well knowing that he's got those options available if things do go south but luckily all of us have been going well lately. 

"The last few weeks especially since we knocked Tuggeranong off for 130-odd in the one-day grand final the bowlers have been getting the job done."
