Joe Antoun, 50, was shot at close range up to five times after he answered a knock on the door of his family home at Strathfield on December 16.
Police on Tuesday said that two men, aged 25 and 24, have been arrested and charged with Mr Antoun's murder. Police will allege that both men are members of Brothers For Life.
The 25-year-old, who is already in custody, was charged by homicide squad detectives at Silverwater jail on Tuesday morning.
The 24-year-old was arrested and charged in Parramatta last Thursday.
Mr Antoun worked in the construction industry but was also known as a standover man.
He had a lengthy criminal history, with repeated stints in jail dating back to the '90s on a raft of offences that included armed robbery, theft and the extortion of a Darling Harbour nightclub.
The 25-year-old man will appear in Burwood Local Court on Wednesday.
