Kav’s love for the club and love for the game is second to none. His work rate is unbelievable and he’s clearly one of the best forwards in the competition. He picks up two or three of the best defenders each week and still has the ability to take the mark and kick goals and I still don’t know how he manages to do it.

When Kav is firing there’s really no doubt that we’re going to win or go close. He gets double teamed each week and still performs at the highest level, I’d rate him as the best forward in the Canberra competition for the past decade. More than that though, he’s also a great clubman and someone everyone loves to be around on and off the field.

We’ve had some outstanding full forwards here in Queanbeyan with guys like Mark Armstrong and Michael Niesen over the years and Kav easily ranks alongside those blokes. He’s a great kick, an exceptional mark and is able to run all day. He’s also a fine ambassador for the footy club and for AFL in general in Canberra.
