Queanbeyan City Council deputy mayor and Charity Book Fair team leader Peter Bray has his arms full getting ready for this week's fundraising event.
THE monthly Charity Book Fair is on again this Friday, May 4 from 5 to 8pm and Saturday, May 5 from 10am to 2pm. The book fair will be held at the RB Smith Community Centre on Crawford Street with all profits to go to the Meals on Wheels Queanbeyan.
There are thousands of new, old, fiction and non-fiction books to be snapped up including current release, science fiction and fantasy novels.
The Meals and Wheels service includes delivering prepared meals to the frail aged and those with disabilities and providing a weekly cooked lunch at the RB Smith Community Centre with transport provided.
