A Council spokeswoman wouldn’t reveal the location of the land or any further details of the arrangement until it’s finalised because the deal is still ‘commercial in confidence.’
A condition of the sale dictates the new development must proceed in a “timely manner.” Failing that, the title would revert back to Council.
