Rescuers are walking the man out of the Bowens Creek area near Mt Wilson. Police say he is suffering from mild dehydration and hypothermia.
NSW Police resumed a full-scale search and rescue operation for the man this morning after a personal locater beacon was activated in the Blue Mountains yesterday evening.
It is believed the 26-year-old from Queanbeyan was canyoning in the area and activated the beacon east of Mt Wilson.
