Competition players will have meals provided free while the night will cost $20 for all other attendees.

The club's summer competitions have recently completed with the men's competition proving to be very popular again.

The final was between Mick Kennedy, Steve Frost, Brian Lee-Archer and Gordon Elliott for the Tigers and Matt Pankasz, Karl Dubsky, Mel Watanabe and Barry Lynch for the Blue Heelers.

Peter Lindbeck proved a very capable replacement for Barry in the final.

The ladies competition lacked numbers this year but those who did compete enjoyed themselves.

Members are reminded that courts must be booked through the Queanbeyan Bowling Club. The keys should be collected and returned to the club and the contact number is 6297 6022.

Club coach John Bennett currently has vacancies available for both group and private coaching. Any member, either senior or junior interested in coaching should give John a call on 6297 8090.
