A WIN on Saturday will catapult the Queanbeyan Whites into second place on the ladder heading into the second round of the competition.
Coach Wayne Southwell said while combinations have been tricky to come by due to injury and unavailability, he was happy with the way things were progressing half way through the season. ``I've been fairly happy with the last couple of weeks in particular,'' Southwell said. ``This is a really important game for us a win will put us up into the top two and really that's where we want to be coming into the second half of the season.''
Southwell said the game could be won through the forwards and he will expect his scrum to rise for Wests largely considered the top scrum in the competition.
