Busting to rustle magpie feathers

03 Jul, 2009 09:55 AM
FEELING rested and composed after coming off a bye, the Queanbeyan Blues will take on Yass Magpies this weekend.

At the half way point in the competition, the Blues are sitting one spot out of the top four in fifth position, right behind cross town rivals the Roos.

A big win on Saturday would improve the Blues for-and-against possibly nudging them into the four, depending on how the Roos and Tuggeranong perform. All three sides are on ten competition points.

Coach Neil Bijorac said the week's break had been good for his players and they were now eager to get back on the field.

``We had a bit of a break this week,'' Bijorac said.
