TOP spot in the Canberra Raiders Cup is up for grabs on Sunday afternoon when the Queanbeyan Blues head to Goulburn to play the table-topping Bulldogs at Workers Arena.
Goulburn has led the way in the local rugby league competition this year with four wins in as many games to start the season, including a nail-biting two-point victory over the Queanbeyan Kangaroos on Sunday.
Meanwhile the Blues have been hot and cold, chalking up three strong wins, tainted by a home loss to Woden earlier this month.
Queanbeyan coach Neil Bijorac was impressed with his team's ability to grind out a six-point win over Tuggeranong last round, but said improvement was necessary to beat Goulburn.
``Even when Goulburn aren't playing good they are tough at home, but this year they are playing good footy and are on top of the ladder, so it will be even more difficult,'' Bijorac said.
