Panthers presentation

25 Sep, 2009 10:07 AM
THE Monaro Panthers Football Club held its annual presentation day at David Madew Playing Fields earlier this month.

About 900 juniors received trophies after a year of numerous standout achievements by the club's teams.

These included back-to-back-to-back wins at the Kanga Cup and several interstate tournaments at Cowra, Young and Wagga Wagga.

The club had about 450 kids playing in the new inter-club competition, in the small-sided game structure rolled out by Football Federation Australia this year.

Monaro congratulates all players, parents, coaches and volunteers on a terrific season of soccer, and look forward to continuing the football revolution for Queanbeyan and partner towns next year.
