The fourth grade team will face Western Districts at Jamison, while third grade will battle Norths at Majura.
Both pitches received buckets of water during the last two weeks, creating difficult conditions for batsmen.
Speaking to ifThe Queanbeyan Agenf from a junior tournament in Newcastle, fourth grade captain Peter Solway said he was looking forward to the hit out and his team was quietly confident of going home with a win.
Solway said although his side had faltered against Wests last time they had played, his highly experienced side should have what it takes to seal a victory this weekend.
“I will be looking for a good team effort right the way through,” Solway said.
“We've got some good young players who I hope will have big games, but right through the order everyone has a job.”
Third grade captain, Lea Hansen, was also confident of his side going home premiers.
Hansen's team managed a win over Norths earlier in the season when the Belconnen side had talented youngster Pat Toole playing, who managed a hundred.
Toole has since moved on to higher grades and Hansen suggested his experienced side would be prepared for the weekend's match.
“We are quietly confident we beat them by about 100 in an earlier match this year when they had a good young guy playing [Toole] and he's moved up to second grade,” Hansen said.
He said the rain would not be a major concern to his side which is brimming with experience.
He confirmed his side would need to win the match to claim the premiership as Norths finished above them on the ladder.
“The wicket won't really worry us we'd just like to finish the game, if it doesn't finish then they will get the premiership having finished above us on the ladder,” he said.
“We are quietly confident though we've got a good set of bowlers and we have so much experience both in first grade and representative level.”
Hansen, who played leading roles in his first grade appearances, said he was happy to retire to the lower grades. “Unfortunately age gets us all,” he said.
