The trio said they would continue taking action on the alleged asbestos handling issue.
Ms Pavey said they had “a whole series of questions to ask” the government, which they would do through Freedom of Information requests.
Resident Don Kirk also met with Monaro MP Steve Whan last month to discuss the asbestos issue after the politician approached him during a community function on February 12.
He said Mr Whan had told him he would follow the matter up with WorkCover.
No further action has been planned by WorkCover NSW and the issue is currently a responsibility of the RTA, a WorkCover NSW spokesperson told the Queanbeyan Age on Wednesday.
Mr Whan confirmed that he had met with Mr Kirk and that he would contact WorkCover.
“Soon after meeting with Mr Kirk I followed the matter up with Minister Daley's office and Workcover,” he said.
“I have asked WorkCover to contact Mr Kirk to discuss the investigations and any issues he may have.”
